Item Description
Matching pair 7.5" tall all wood with removable lids. Totally unmarked but most likely European. 1930s. Nice Deco designs consisting of triangular body atop curved platform base. Lacquered wood each with image on the wood of front panels, one of Mickey who appears to be whistling, the other Minnie dancing. Interiors show soiling. Scattered aging, some minor hairlines in the wood, small edge flakes. Minnie has few more flakes than Mickey and also running vertically across front panel at center is a hairline. However, both remain structurally sound, Mickey displays VF while Minnie is Fine. First we've seen.
