Item Description
1.75" with loop at top once used to hang the piece from a ribbon badge. We are picturing the flat reverse side of the piece which is covered in celluloid. This side reads in part "Commemorating Maryland Today (Dec. 6th, 1895) At The Cotton States And Industrial Exposition Atlanta..." The front of the piece is highly convex and has beautiful depiction of state flag against cream bkg. with the state name "Maryland" above and the expo location "Atlanta." Side we picture has small black area at upper left where something put a series of tiny grooves into the celluloid surface. Rest of the piece is extremely clean and glossy. Rare.
