From 1948 series of ten different watches issued to celebrate Mickey's 20th birthday. Watch has 1-1/8" by 1.5" metal case, dial features image of Pinocchio whose hands point at the numerals. The vinyl-covered leather strap has a split at top but remains intact as does the original $6.95 foil price tag. Band o/w VF. Case retains near full silver luster, dial is bright and clean. Running and Exc. Comes with a pair of 3.5x4.5x1" deep boxes each featuring scene on top of the ten Disney characters produced as watches for this series. While all watches came in this style box, character name was stamped on one side panel. However, these boxes are marked for "Daisy Duck/Jiminy Cricket." Neither is designated for Pinocchio. Jiminy Cricket box is missing insert and has obvious wear/aging. Good. Daisy box is complete with insert. Has small scattered trace of edge wear with .25x.5" surface paper rub at bottom center. Fine.
