10.5x14" pair published by Raw Books & Graphics. #7, 1985; #8, 1986. Infamous counter-culture magazine contains stories by legend Robert Crumb, Gary Panter (author of previous item #2265) and two installments of "Maus" by Art Speigelman. #7 contains centerfold spread of "The Passion Of St. Sluggo," depicting various out of character and unusual depictions of Nancy and Sluggo. This is loose as issued. The "Maus" chapter inserts measure 6x9". As printed has 3.25x4" corner piece removed from top right-hand corner. This piece is then taped to contents page and has printed text and circle reading "Damaged Goods/Handle With Care." Clever design. Issue #8 features article that mentions "Atomic Bomb" ring, "Atom Bomber" game as well as a Orphan Annie strip reprinting mention of atom bomb. Another bound-in edition of "Maus." Abstract "Nancy" comic strip appears. Surreal Donald Duck portrait. Issues have some nudity. Light handling wear. Issue #7 is Exc., #8 Exc./NM.
