Item Description
The cartoon adventures strip card set consists of a total of 48 cards comprised of 4 sub-sets for Tailspin Tommy, Tarzan, Bronco Bill and Buck Rogers. This lot consists of all 8 cards (plus one duplicate) for the Tailspin Tommy sub-set #401-408 (duplicate of #407). ©1936 Stephen Schlesinger Inc. Cards have blank backs. Numbers 402-404 have light margin wear/aging but remain quite clean and are free of creases. VF. Card #406 and one of the #407 cards both have some extremely faint center creases only noticeable upon close inspection, Fine. The other four have more noticeable wear, heavier creases and margin aging. Overall VG. Scarce as a complete sub-set.
