Lot of 10, each 2.5x3-1/8". ©1938 Gum Inc. All are variety with machine-printed, over-print text on card backs promoting the Horrors of War card series. These rare "over-print" cards were issued in other packs of Gum, Inc. cards and also sent to schools for distribution to students. Card numbers are 100, 102, 103, 106-108, 110-112, 118. Cards have light aging to margins/reverses, additional light margin wear but remain clean and with fairly sharp corners. Nos. 102 and 106 each have a few tiny surface paper flakes on margins, Fine. All others are VF/Exc. Rarely have we offered single cards of this variety, let alone a group of 10.
