Item Description
12.5x16". Carved pine 1" thick. 1x2.5" piece of bark missing at bottom left corner. Ink notation on back "Finland/Amer. Olympic Team 1952-5,000 Meter Walk." Sticker on back reads "Helios" manufacturer of plaque. Bottom front is carved "Helios/V.Tissori." Presumably Carver's name. Very nicely done. Laskau was known as "Mr. Walking." VF.
