First is 11" dia. Text around image of Washington looking at Trylon and Perisphere reads "New York Worlds Fair 1939. Commemorating George Washington's Inauguration As First President Of The U.S.A. 1789." Vignettes of Fair scenes surround the outer border. Back of plate has official souvenir emblem. Made by Lamberton/Scammell. NM. Second is 10" plate with tiny handles. 50% gold trim on far outer rim remains. Evenly crazed. Back reads "Union Made By Cronin China Co. Minerva-Ohio/1939 New York Worlds Fair." Fine.
