Item Description
7x10.25" slightly age toned "Congress Of The United States" serial numbered envelope (2104) holds essentially mint contents consisting of ribbon-bound "Inaugural Ceremonies Program" plus engraved invitation folder that holds portrait prints of FDR and Garner. Also see #49 (Hoover invitation). From the collection of Leroy T. Vernon, a campaign manager for Taft and later Washington D.C. reporter for the Chicago Daily News.
