Item Description
15.5x19.5" image area in 22x27" elaborate period frame. Boone was from North Strabane Twp., Washington County, Pennsylvania. Served in the 154th Regiment, P.V.I. Died at age 55 of consumption. Image shows him wearing blue tinted Union uniform with white accents. Very well done image. Only minor scuffs to frame. Likely done in 1870s from photo image taken during war. VF. Impressive.
