Item Description
7/8" from first year of button making depicting company trademark of two young twin black boys seated in sudsy water in large wash tub. Whitehead & Hoag back paper is dust soiled, but the celluloid is super clean with high gloss. Button curl has 1896 patent date. Gorgeous example of black Americana and 19th century advertising button classic.
