Item Description
Original 7.5x11.5" envelope has nice illustrated paper label depicting finished doll as well as photo illustration of the "Our Gang" actors. c. early 1920s. Envelope reads "Our Gang Package No. 104 Contains 'Fatty' Doll A Character In Hal Roach's Our Gang. Exclusively Controlled By Artamo-An Art Needlework. Envelope has usual and typical wear and is missing flap. VG. Label is Fine. Contents include folder advertising other Artamo Our Gang products including dolls for characters Farina, Mary, Freckles and Jackie. Card contains affixed cloth name tag to be sewn on doll. Glassine envelope contains unused packs of embroidery yarn with direction sheet. 17x32.5" uncut fabric pattern contains parts necessary for making doll. When assembled, doll stands 16" tall. Folded as issued with light aging. Exc. Rare.
