Item Description
11”x14” hardcover book with cloth binding. Printed by United Artists to highlight films coming out in the 1930-1931 film season. Book highlights stars and films in a very art deco manner, with beautiful silver highlights. Some of the stars mentioned are: Gloria Swanson, Ronald Coleman, Eddie Cantor, Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbank Sr. and Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin page is extremely impressive with nice large image of Chaplin in his Little Tramp role with next page advertising “City Lights” with his name emblazed above. The “HA” in Charlie and Chaplin have been printed in a slightly different color to emphasize laughter. Pages are clean and bright with some light aging and are Exc. Cover has some light wear and color rubs with corner tip wear and some wear to cloth bind. All pages remain intact and cover is affixed. Cover is FN.
