Item Description
Issued by same maker as button #502. Each card 1.25x2-5/8" and c. 1896-1900. Nine cards have back text offering premium for two product box tops of children's book about "Pollywog's Adventures." Text also lists all 20 cards in this set titled "Adventures Of Pollywog And Taddy Pole And Their Friends." An additional 8 cards are here, but these have no text on reverse as made. Lot consists of 17 of 20 cards with the missing cards, as numbered on reverse of those 9 with text of number 2, 9, 15. Wonderful art and extremely fine with sharp corners and no creases. A rare advertising card lot.
