Item Description
2.75" from 1930s with St. Louis Button backpaper. Silhouette of TR-like cowboy on bucking bronc. Very minor surface wear shows only in reflected light. Displays as Mint.

We thought this might be a scout item related to the annual Roosevelt Pilgrimage. However, we are advised FDR expert Joe Jacobs considered this an FDR item, he searched a long time for it but never acquired it for his collection. Joe said the design was a take-off of a smaller 1940 button issued in Wyoming for the Republican candidate and reading "Simpson For Senator."
