Item Description
Large 1.75" with beautiful portraits within beaded gold ovals on purple bkg. w/all inscriptions in gold lettering for June 26, 1902 coronation. Lower inscription is "Presented By The Corporation Of Liverpool/Charles Petrie/Lord Mayor." Backpaper is photocopy of original and reads "This Medallion Was Presented To 130,000 Children Attending The Elementary Schools Of Liverpool June, 1902." Purple bkg. is lovely but actually faded from original darker tone but still a gorgeous button and about third we've seen.
