Item Description
1.25" lovely color depiction of jointed and seated teddy bear doll beneath the name of famous retail store "Jordan Marsh Co." Reverse backpaper by Ehrman of Boston. Image of the bear shares many features similar to the 1903 earliest designs by Steiff. Earliest depiction of teddy bear doll we know of and we've seen only 5 others. Single pinpoint of age on the reverse edge of no consequence. Front has tiny scuff lines below left arm and pair of deeper but only 1/16" scratches all of which barely show in reflected light. Centered and with high gloss. Rarely found nicer.
