7/8" apparently issued to promote Bill Ding wooden clown toys that may be interlocked and balanced. Product was introduced in 1930s by the Strombecker Co. Button dates from that time and has St. Louis Button backpaper. Image of wood-jointed man saluting and holding hammer and saw in left hand. Exc.
