Issued in 1943 in Pep cereal, this is the complete set of 12 buttons, each a 1-1/8" litho. Eight planes are shown: 4 in green and 4 in brown against photographic-style blue sky with 4 brown repeated using artist-enhanced airplane details and hand-drawn cloud outlines. Paint on this set was very susceptible to wear. These 12 have been constantly upgraded over the decades. While not perfect, all grad Exc. to NM (11 of 12 extremely glossy) and we feel confident this is the best condition set in existence.
