Early image of Donald as he appeared in The Wise Little Hen cartoon of 1934. On this 1.25" he stands in rain with tiny "WD" copyright below his feet and slogan "Dry In Any Weather." Company name below "Norwich Knitting Co., Norwich N.Y." Complete with rarely seen backpaper by "Orange Mfg. Corp., Newark, N.J." Trivial surface wear under magnification. A superior NM example complete with backpaper.
