Item Description
1.25" c. 1902 and one of the earliest comic strip promotional buttons. Bottom reads "Presented By New York Journal." Backpaper reads "Foxy Grandpa Prize Badge. See Him And The Boys Every Sunday In The New York Journal." 1/8" hairline of missing surface paper over the word "York" and rest has light soil but easily readable. Cello is essentially Mint.
