Item Description
Superior example of the rare, large pocket watch produced in 1933 for distribution in the United Kingdom. The celluloid dial and revolving second wheel feature an early non-traditional image of Mickey which was quickly revised to the traditional face and thinner body w/issue of the second English Ingersoll. The silvered brass case is 2" dia. with glass dial cover which has a narrow beveled outer edge. Dial is mint and case luster is NM. Watch needs shaken or bumped to get second wheel started. Once going, we've had it running from just a few seconds to over 12 hours. Likely just needs cleaning to keep time. Single year small production run and with flawless cello dial as on this one is quite rare.
