Each set portrays the complete battle in chronologoical order as photographed by armed forces combat photographers. Each box is numbered and titled. Notable sets include: Pearl Harbor/Saipan Marianas Islands/Gilbert Islands/New Guinea/Guam/Iwojima/Normandy Invasion/Invastion Beachead/Patton Breaks Out/Invading South France/Seventh Drives North. Each slide has extensive captions below explaining scene. Boxes show light surface dust. All 240 slides are intact and Exc.
