Item Description
Lot of four. Two are 3", two are 3.5". Celluloid. From the Marshall Levin collection. Larger ones w/ink notations on back read "San Antonio, Texas/5/82-500." Limited to just 500 made. Research shows that their name is "Adkisson" but the world knows them as the "Von Erichs" and to many they are the first family of professional wrestling. Theirs is a family which was marked by enormous popularity and extraordinary success but even more so for the continuous tragedy that has struck over and over through the years. The father, Jack Adkisson began his wrestling career under the name Fritz Von Erich. Later formed World Class Wrestling, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. He had six sons, five of which have met tragic deaths, several taking their own lives. Kevin is now the only living son of the famed family. Exc. and scarce.
