2" dia. bright chrome case with loop at top. Center dial reads "Hopalong Cassidy." This watch comes with its 3.5" square red box with white text and branding iron designs and we know it was available in December 1948 through Kresge five and dime stores. We've only seen 3 others in 39 years. Slight color loss on box corners and edge. No cardboard insert. Only box we've seen. Fine. Watch has very shallow dent 3/16" long on right side edge and blank case back has pinpoint indent near center and about ten tiny 1/16" or so scratches on outer edge at 4-5 o'clock and 9-10 o'clock. Luster on case near 100% and dial is Mint although crystal a little yellow. Overall watch is Exc. and running.
