Item Description
Two 1.25" designs (from series of 3) from the early 1930s to promote newspaper comic strip. These two have matching backpapers stating "Read Dick Tracy Every Day In The News - New York's Picture Newspaper." Also known with Chicago Tribune backpaper. Each includes artist's signature "Chester Gould" on front. Front view version has shallow top rim dent but displays glossy and Exc. Profile version is also glossy and Exc.
