Item Description
Little Orphan Annie, Dick Tracy, Harold Teen, Reg'lar Fellers, Smitty. 7.25x8.75x1-1/8" deep box has lid art of characters whose 5 books are included in set. Books are 6.75x8.5" with 32 bw pages of comic strip reprints issued in 1934. These are soft cover versions of hard covers issued by Cupples & Leon Co. Box lid has light dust soiling and wear. Bottom left lid corner is split with tape repair. VG. Annie, Smitty and Harold Teen books have soiling to covers and some pages scattered throughout. Light handling wear and are Fine/VF. Reg'lar Fellers and Dick Tracy books clean, VF/Exc. This is only the second example of the boxed set that we've seen. Rare.
