Item Description
Dark blue on bright gold for NYWF event "June 19, 1939." In addition to being single day issue, this badge was used only by select few serving as "Official Hosts." Tiny metal tab on covered metal reverse holds 1.5" aluminum medallion promoting Great Smoky Mts., Wright Brothers first flight and Roanoke Island birthplace of Virginia Dare. Tiny 1/16" shallow cut on lower edge of button. Extremely fine and second seen, but first complete w/medallion.
