4x7x2.25" deep nicely illustrated box contains 5.75" tall solid painted plastic figure. From series of four produced in 1946 by R.W. Kerr Company, set included Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr. and Marvel Bunny. C.C. Beck-designed box features illustration of Captain Marvel holding the Mary Marvel statue in his hand while back shows illustrations of other statues. Box has just slightest trace of wear. Still a tight and Exc. example. Company decal under base 70% complete. Statuette has near invisible repair across two small corners of the smaller cape that mounts under her hair. Barely shows and doesn't show at all from the front. Beautifully made statue includes name on front of base with copyright on back. VF example with an Exc. display. Quite scarce due to limited distribution and its fragile nature.
