Item Description
Lot of three pieces of ephemera related to the National Periodicals Publications' (DC Comics) subscription service. Typed letter notes upcoming subscription renewal and features great image of Superman and hourglass at top. Included w/this is subscription order form listing 49 titles including - "Aquaman, Brave And The Bold, Hawkman, Showcase, Batman, Green Lantern, Justice League, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Action Comics" and several more including "Capt. Storm," a short-lived title that was only published 1964-1967, effectively dating this lot. Typed note at top notes recipient's "World's Finest" subscription would be ending in Aug. Typed recipient name at bottom. Both sheets are folded as mailed. Exc. Comes w/original mailing envelope and self-addressed envelope w/postage for return mail. Original envelope shows wear as opened and is VG while other envelope is Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
