Item Description
4.25x7x1.75" deep box contains 4" and 5.75" long wooden handle brushes as well as 4.75" long plastic comb w/"Superman" name in gold. Brushes each have same 2" tall full body, full color Superman decal. Monarch Brush Co. (who made a variety of boxed brush sets, see following item #2133), ©1940 Superman Inc. Box is complete w/original plain cardboard inserts (including inner lid insert as well as box bottom insert), which has two small tears at die-cut corners w/lt. glue repairs. Box lid shows even aging w/.25" spot of staining below nice action image of Superman. Side panel has small penciled store inventory and three 1" areas of surface paper lifts, one w/price sticker remnant. Displays Fine. Contents are unused and NM. Old store stock and as nice as they come. Rare as boxed. Franco Toscanini Collection.
