Item Description
4.25" tall tin litho, unmarked but by Ohio Art, c. 1934. Scene features Fifer Pig playing his instrument, Fiddler Pig picking flower and Practical Pig looking off into distance. The Big Bad Wolf can be seen hiding behind bush in bkg. Pail has some lt. even aging w/a few small indents underneath Big Bad Wolf image. Pail interior has .75x1.25" area missing paint w/lt. oxidation, but rest remains bright and clean. Small trace of wear to edges of handle and top rim. Remains totally bright, clean and glossy. VF/Exc. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection, this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
