Item Description
First is the Army Air Corp secret compartment ring from a set of four issued in 1942 by Kix. Photos under the slide off compartment and on the ring top are both originals and the ring has Exc. luster. Next are a pair of late 40s plastic rings with color portraits under a clear plastic cover showing both Lone Ranger and Tonto. Next of thin brass with adjustable bands we call the Seal Print Face Ring. The Hake guide says 1940s but this piece is more likely 50s. There is an image of masked man wearing hat and scarf which when pressed into soft material produces a Lone Ranger image. Scarce and perhaps unlicensed. The last ring was licensed and saw use in Canada offered on 1950s containers of Quik. Aluminum with expandable bands with Lone Ranger image on the top accented by black mask and red scarf. A beautiful example and essentially Mint.
