Item Description
Lot of three magazines, each approx. 5.25x8.5". From same series as previous item #2164, following item#2166. Included are - May, June and July 1944. First two issues feature same "Kennedy's - Boston, Mass." imprint on back and have same typed recipient name while third has "Stuckey's - Rockford, Ill." imprint and different inked recipient name. Each has 16 pages. Great Superman content in all such as puzzles, secret codes, illustrations and more. Issues also feature great anti-Axis content, including image of Superman punching Japanese soldier and Nazi and "End Of The Scorpion" story featuring scorpion w/swastika on it. Other wartime content includes features of PT boats and US aircraft/aircraft carriers. July issue features great Uncle Sam cover w/war bond image. Contents remain unused and magazines are Fine overall w/varying degrees of aging/handling wear. Franco Toscanini Collection.
