Item Description
2.5x2.5" tin face w/text on bow below reading "Felix" in the center and sides reading "© By Pat Sullivan." This is earlier version of the c. 1925-1927 variety w/smaller ears and a more narrow face. Face is attached to 5" tall spring-action mechanism w/plunger that when activated, spins circular disc w/red reflective pieces behind Felix's face, which has die-cut holes at eyes/mouth. When back piece spins, sparks are to appear in eyes, mouth and around head. Plunger and mechanism work but pair of flints that originally produced sparks are missing, can be easily replaced. Some scattered lt. oxidation at bottom right along w/some spider-webbing. Face is evenly aged. Fine/VF.
