Item Description
2-5/8x4.25x1.75" deep box contains 1x1.5" silver luster metal case watch w/original metal expansion band. Not to be confused w/the "Superman Supertime Wrist Watch" by Ingraham (see item #2181), this watch was produced by Ingraham for Bradley. Box features similar art. c. 1955-1956. © NCP. Box insert has "Superman" comic book title logo and space graphics. Box lid has nice images of Superman on top and two side panels w/Metropolis skyline bkg. Box lid end panel notes watch as "Model No. 290" and has Bradley name. Lid fits tight on box bottom and has had some color touch-ups, all of which blend. Lid displays VF. Box bottom has some scattered age spotting and corner tip wear. Fine. Dial features full body image of Superman w/hands on hips. Watch is overwound but retains full bright luster and clean dial. Displays NM. As rare as boxed examples of the "Supertime" watch are, this is even rarer and is only the second we've offered in our 49 years. Franco Toscanini Collection.
