Item Description
Original 8.75x8.75x2-3/8" deep cardboard box w/"Happynak Tea Set" name on lid but no Disney markings or graphics, contains six-piece set made in Great Britain by Happynak, 1930s. Box is complete w/die-cut cardboard insert. Lid shows obvious wear w/most of one side panel missing and tape repair at one corner. Tape repairs/reinforcements added to interior. Lid has all over aging, w/lid being significantly darker. VG. Tin litho set includes 4x6" serving tray w/image of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Mickey holding spilling teacup while Minnie pours teapot; 1.75" tall teapot (w/separate lid still attached to insert) features images of Mickey and Minnie laying on their backs w/additional scene on underside of teapot showing Minnie dropping sugar cubes into Mickey's tea; both 1" tall by 2" dia. cups feature same images of Mickey, Minnie and Pluto; both 3" dia. saucers feature same scene of Mickey pouring tea. Each piece features Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse name. Teapot has some moderate aging around center portion and is Fine overall while rest show just trace wear and are Exc.
