Item Description
Large 1930s tea set, consisting of total of 24 pieces, three of which come w/lids. Each piece is white and iridescent tan w/same image of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck (semi-long bill) and Elmer Elephant, though configuration varies. Set includes 3-5/8" tall teapot w/lid, 2.75" tall sugar w/lid, 2" tall creamer, 2.75" tall tureen w/lid, 2" tall open serving dish (w/3x4.5" base plate attached to underside as produced), a 3.75x6" oval serving platter, six 4.25" dia. plates, six 3.75" dia. saucers and six 1-3/8" tall by 2-5/8" dia. cups for complete place setting for six. Exc. Larger tea set than typically found and first we've seen in our 49 years of a tea set featuring Elmer. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
