Item Description
14x22". 1965. Murray Poster Printing with New York union bug. Reads "He Has The Guts To Tell The Truth: Will You Listen?" Buckley's campaign was an effort to revitalize the conservative movement after Goldwater's defeat in the 1964 presidential election. As the founder of National Review magazine Buckley used his influence to push the candidacy of Goldwater. His mayoral campaign featured his cantankerous side that would continue to blossom in the years that followed through his PBS show 'Firing Line' and feuds with Gore Vidal and Norman Mailer. Loss at lower right corner and a faint toning along lower edge extending about 3" up right side. Lt. horizontal crease extending the width of the poster going through text "Will You Listen?" that does not break the surface paper. Extremely clean and VF overall. Scarce.
