Item Description
FR224 $1 note with serial number #8715410. This note has extensive wrinkling including one each vertical and horizontal folds. No holes or tears. Good. The reverse is counter stamped "One Solitary Dollar" in bold red ink. This is a reference to the 1896 election issue over the gold and silver standards championed by William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan respectively. See items #215-238.
