Item Description
2-7/8x5" silk ribbon listed as JP-23 in Sullivan/Fischer. Design features an eagle perched atop a shield at top. Graphic of a tree at bottom with additional text reading "Freemen, Cheer The Hickory Tree, In Storms Its Boughs Have Shelter'd Thee." One each vertical and horizontal folds and scattered light brown stains. A tiny 1/8" hole above the "M" in "Democratic" and a small 1/8" chip at left center. VG. Despite being listed in Sullivan/Fischer this is the first we recall seeing in 49 years.
