Item Description
Highest graded unrestored copy of the historically important book, Funnies On Parade. Considered by many to be the first comic book produced in the format we now know. It consists of several reprints of newspaper strips featuring Mutt & Jeff, Joe Palooka, Hairbreadth Harry, Reg'lar Fellers, and others. Reprints had previously been collected in hard and softcover releases.

Funnies On Parade wasn't initially intended for newsstand sale, instead was a 10,000 print run promotional/giveaway copy sponsored by Proctor & Gamble. This issue enjoyed great success and reinvigorated interest in comic books during the Depression.

Recognized by the CGC Census as the highest graded unrestored example of this comic, we are proud to offer it here.
