Item Description
2x4.5" long wooden base has attached 3.75" tall Mickey Mouse figure done in the style of the earliest English-made Dean's Rag Book Mickey Mouse dolls. All wood construction and hand-painted, piece has neat folk art look. European origin, but o/w unmarked. 1930s. Scattered paint flaking to backside of base. Mickey figure has glue repair at ankles, which are a bit loose. Scattered paint wear w/paint flake off tip of nose. Carved wooden bowl holds original short candle, which is aged but unused. Fine overall.
