Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 6" long painted tin car w/tin litho dashboard which shows radio. Made in US Zone Germany w/interior music box made in Switzerland by Thorens. c. 1950s. Box has some edge wear to paper label and some corner tip wear but remains tight and Fine/VF. Music box winds on underside of car w/dashboard switch. Plays well. Wind-up motor is on side and comes w/generic key. Car runs. Plated parts include bumper and grille. Has vinyl antenna which moves up/down. Front wheels are manually-operated by using steering wheel. Includes original folded instruction sheet with text in four languages. Great concept and wonderful design. NM, old store stock.
