Item Description
The earliest club buttons from Fox Dome Theater in Ocean Park, California featured a rather crudely drawn image of Mickey which the Disney studio soon rectified. This Studio approved design was issued sometime in 1930 and likely earlier than those buttons in the larger 1.25" size which have the same text as shown on this which reads beneath Mickey "Copy. 1928-30/By W.E. Disney." Upper right has very shallow dent but the piece still displays Mint with high gloss and is complete with its Phila. Badge Co. paper. Scarce.
