Item Description
Lot of three painted tin wind-up double-decker buses. All have raised "Tri-Ang Minic Toys - Made In England" text on undersides. Green bus dates to the 1940s and features die cast wheels w/original rubber tires and interior w/wooden seats. Sides have small worn "Green Line" decals, both of which show wear. Body of bus has some spider-webbing. Wind-up works. VG overall. Two red "London Transport" double-decker buses are 1950s painted tin, one has die cast wheels, other has hard plastic wheels; both w/rubber tires, die-cut metal stairs to second level and wooden seats. Part of a series w/different decal varieties, both feature "London Transport" decals on sides, one has "Pedigree Prams" baby carriages and "Ovaltine" advertising decals while other has "Frog Flying Models/Penguin Scale Models" and "Minic" advertising decals. Both have "14 Kings Cross - Piccadilly Circus - Sth Kensington" route decals. Both are working. Prams variety shows some scattered wear and is VF while other is Exc. Lot includes two original "Minic" keys.
