Item Description
The 16 team member buttons are each 1" and these are real photos without dot pattern. Of the 16, six show some tan toning. This is possibly the team that toured England in 1938. To the upper right of the photo is 1-5/8" button showing a kangaroo and with text "Souvenir Australian Rugby Tour." Pin suspends green ribbon with "Australia" in somewhat faded gold color. The button has two or three barely seen tiny age dots. At the upper left is 1.25" button from the 1930s reading "American Soccer League" with pin holding ribbons and hollow brass ball. Below this is 1.75" button with text relating to a professional English soccer match played in New York. This reads "Sunderland Vs. Huddersfield Town New York City May 15, 1955." Light grey marks over much of the background. Still glossy. Last is 7/8" circa 1930s button showing ball and with text "Brooklyn Wonderers." All items are scarce to rare. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
