Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 6.75" long painted tin sports car w/tin litho interior, plated grille/bumpers and fold-down windshield. Made in Japan by Bandai, 1950s. Box shows scattered wear w/corners being creased on box bottom. Lid retains its shape. Fine. Car features nice details including faux wire wheels w/"MG" logo, detailed underside w/Bandai "B" logo. Friction works smoothly. This style box and particular car are not pictured/listed in Ron Smith's "Tin Toy Cars" book. Aside from a small scratch behind seats, car displays NM.
