Item Description
Official Walt Disney licensed rain set from 1955 includes 33.75" tall raincoat/slicker and rain hat, both w/repeated Fess Parker "Walt Disney's Official Davy Crockett" image and copyright. Slicker has vinyl fringe trim on arms and back. Typical aging/wear to material, but all fringes intact and set shows very little wear from use. Metal clasps on front have aged. Fine/VF overall. Rare set, the first we've offered in our 49 years. Comes w/4x12.5x1" deep open display boxed non-Disney "Davy Crockett Thunderbird Lace-Your-Own Moccasin Kit" by The Blaine Company, Inc. 1950s. Set includes foam rubber insoles, braided cord and "Suedine" material w/silk-screened Crockett image. Box is stamped "Large" at top and shows scattered wear w/crease. Fine. Contents remain complete and unused. Exc.
