Item Description
4-5/8x5-3/8" softcover book w/128 pages of comics, Red Ryder creator Fred Harman art, Western tips, jokes and "The Boy Commandos" reprint story by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. 12-page full color center insert shows various Red Ryder guns and has full page of "Official Walt Disney Davy Crockett Products" w/photo image of "Fess Parker As Walt Disney's Davy Crockett." Also featured along with Red Ryder/Little Beaver are The Frontiersmen, Gail Davis as Annie Oakley and Ramar of the Jungle (who are all mentioned again w/Crockett on inside back cover. Book has corner tip wear w/staple oxidation but o/w remains bright. VF/Exc. Illustrated mailer envelope features Red Ryder/Little Beaver images and shows heavy and obvious wear and just comes along. Comes w/4.5x5-3/8" glossy photo card of Parker as Crockett w/facsimile signature. Aging along left margin w/moisture staining at bottom left corner. VF. This photo insert is rarely found w/the Daisy book.
